Moving to Our New Masjid

Brothers and Sisters: Assalamu ‘alaykum.
By the Will and Grace of Allah, Insha Allah we will be moving from our current Davis Plaza location to our new very own County Barn Masjid.  Alhamdulillah.

The moving date is on Sunday, 10/28/2018.

Our current plan is to hold our first Maghreb prayers at this location on that Sunday, 10/28, Insha Allah.  Please plan to arrive by 6.30pm and be privileged to listen to Imam Nour first Azan call at the new location.  After performing Maghreb prayers, we will tour our new Masjid and perform Isha prayers around 8.00pm Insha Allah.

Light refreshments will be served after Maghreb prayers Insha’Allah

Moving forward this will be the location you will come to for all the activities of our Islamic Center, Insha Allah.

2017 Qurbani Information

Assalamu ‘Alaykum,

Eid Al Adha this year will be either Friday, September 1st or Saturday, September 2nd, 2017. We will communicate the exact date by Friday, August 25th or you can visit our website at www.icnaples.org for this information, Insha Allah.

We have received several requests to provide our community with this year’s Qurbani information. Below are 3 options available for our area:

  1. Brother Sultan who owns a farm in the Clewiston area will participate in helping us with Qurbani. His rate this year is $300.00 for a goat or lamb. The average weight for a lamb is 90 to 120 lbs, and for a goat is 80 to 90 lbs. Please call him by Monday, August 28th. His phone number is 1-954-559-1354.

    You will need to order in advance and go to his farm on Eid day for Qurbani. His address is 4200 Pioneer, 15th Street, Clewiston, FL 33440. The folks helping to sacrifice the animal will charge $10.00 to $15.00 for this service. They will cut the meat to your needs and you can take the meat home with you that day, Insha Allah.
  2. Apna Bazaar in Fort Lauderdale is the second location who will help us with Qurbani. Rate this year is $275.00 for a goat or lamb. A cow is $220.00 per share. You will need to call br. Ashfaq by Monday, August 28th at 1-954-742-5757. The address is as follows 8330 West Oakland Park Blvd., Sunrise, FL 33351.

    Please call him and give him your name, contact information and tell him under which name to do the Qurbani. He will tell you what day and time you can go there to pick up your sacrificed meat. We recommend that you partner up with another brother or sister and one can go to pick up for 3 to 4 family to save multiple families traveling to Fort Lauderdale and you all can split the gas and travel expense.

We are not recommending any one place, please use your best judgment and whatever suits best for you and your family.
